For your consideration is a nice Antique ROYAL DOULTON “Ardencapel Castle”

1920’s
Produced at the Royal Doulton – Burslem factory, this beautiful piece is decorated with a
British
castle and landscape scene.  It has a nice array of earth tone colors. The lid is made from a
Bakelite
type material with a  spring loaded silver metal twist lock.  The jar is properly signed on bottom as seen in pic, the silver lock is signed ‘Patent 194168’.
The
jar measures approx. 4” tall with lid by 5” wide.
The piece is in excellent Antique condition, free of any chips,
cracks or repairs with light age & handling related wear. It does have some age related crazing which appears to be confined to the inside and outer bottom.
