Up for auction is this terrific 1960’s King Koin Komet coin op gumball vending machine.  The 10 cent machine, from the 1960’s, is in working condition!  It has a great surfing related graphic sticker on the front from the famed music store Sam Goody Musicland!  The sticker has an image of a man surfing with a girl on his shoulders.  It says “it’s beachin” and “sam goody musicland”.  The machine has its original key.  It has a red metal top with red metal and chrome bottom.  The flap say “KING KOIN”.  The machine is also impressed “PAT. PEND.  HARBY INDUSTRIES  VAN NUYS, CALIF.”.  The clear top portion is plastic.  The interior works are metal.  Once again, the piece works (you can keep the dime I used to test it!).  Measures about 20 1/2 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches deep.  In good cosmetic condition with just some minor expected wear to red paint.  It still retains most of the original red paint, though.  The is in pretty nice shape also with just some minor oxidation to flap.  A great piece offered with NO RESERVE!!
